I’ve been lost… lost in Olympic TV watching purgatory. I can hardly believe I found the strength to get out for the Wednesday night hike. Tonight the destination was Thetis Lake. I guess I better set the record straight since my lack of blog activity might lead you to believe I really do have a couch permanently attached to my ass; some TV, some work, some other stuff, but not so much blogging.

It’s really starting to feel Spring-like around here with cherry blossoms all over the place, relatively warm temperatures, less precipitation, and some Springy smells. The hike tonight was great with a clear, starry sky and good trails. Slightly disappointed – did not see a single slug tonight.

One Commment on “Wednesday Hike – Thetis Lake – Victoria, BC”

  1. Diji - from the Di half says:

Gee Kris, you have such a nice way with words; a way of coaxing readers/viewers into your blogs. You’re right! It is seeming ‘springy’, here too. We will soon have the three stages of spring; when the snow melts off the roof, when my runoff engineering skills train the water out of the yard and down to the lake and finally when the shovel hits the dirt in the garden and screams, “It’s time, let’s get growing!” Thanks for the ode to spring.
