This is part two of my Portland mini-vacation recap. As I mentioned in part one, we had a couple days in Portland after Vince and I finished the Seattle to Portland bike ride. Lots of walking around and eating, and I took some photos as well.

Check out part one of my Portland mini-vacation report.

Steph and Vince have feet of steel me thinks. Michelle and I had to wear running shoes to protect our dainty feet during our 12km walk-a-thon.

There are lots of roses in the Rose Garden at Washington Park in Portland, but being short on flower identification skills I can't say for sure that these are roses as well.

We didn't have time for an extensive excursion in Washington Park, but did manage to find some actual non-paved trail in addition to the roads and paved walkways.

I think I've mentioned it before... I'm not really a flower person, but I do appreciate their presence.

Pardon the reflection, but I thought this vintage Michelin Man and some of the other collectibles in this non-descript building were kind of cool.

On the whole I thought downtown Portland had more going for it in terms of variety of architecture than many other places I've been lately. Note: I have not been that many places lately.

Maybe I should know what this is, but I don't. Has the Pillsbury dough boy become an Indian deity?

I'll probably remember Portland's Steel Bridge for a while since it came at the end of the longest bike ride I may ever do.
